Belavia Launches Direct Minsk–Bangkok and Minsk–Phuket Flights
Belavia Belarusian Airlines has added two new direct links to Thailand. The first scheduled Minsk–Bangkok flight landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport on October 26, 2026, with the Tourism Authority of Thailand confirming the route will operate weekly using a 281-seat Airbus A330-200.
A second new route, Minsk–Phuket, begins twice-weekly scheduled service from October 29, flown with the same aircraft type. Together the two routes give travellers from Belarus — and the wider region connecting through Minsk — direct options into both Bangkok and Thailand’s main beach destination, without a stopover.
For anyone booking flights to or from Minsk, these are genuinely new direct options rather than codeshares or seasonal charters, so they are worth checking against connecting flights that previously required a change of plane in the Gulf or elsewhere.
