By using duriandesk.com you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site. You may read, print and share what is here for your own purposes. You may not republish it wholesale as your own, scrape it in bulk, or use it to train a model without permission.

Everything here is general information for planning. It is not legal, immigration, financial, tax, medical or investment advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship between us.

Thai rules change, often at short notice and sometimes without an English announcement. Every page carries the date it was checked and a link to its source. Services we arrange

DurianDesk is not a law firm, visa agency, property agent, school or accountancy practice, and does not carry out that work itself. When you tell us what you need, we arrange it with an independent firm in Thailand that we have checked, agree the price with them, and come back to you with it. We remain your point of contact throughout.

The price you are quoted is the same as you would pay going to that firm directly. We are paid by the firm out of its own fee, not by you.

The work itself is done by that firm, which is responsible for it and for its own professional advice. We pass on the firm's quote as the firm gives it to us, and if the firm changes its price or the scope of the work we tell you before anything goes ahead. We work with firms we have reason to think are competent, but the outcome of an application, a purchase or any other matter depends on the authorities and on the firm doing the work, and we cannot guarantee it.

Some outgoing links earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. They are marked where they appear. Advertising may be shown in future. Neither arrangement determines what is written here, and a commission is never a reason for a recommendation.

Links to other sites

This site links out constantly, by design — to Thai ministries, ticket sellers, weather and currency services and news outlets. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or what they do with your data.

Availability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, or that every figure is free of error. Where we find a mistake we correct it and, where it matters, record the correction.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on the information here or on work carried out by a firm we arrange it with. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

How we handle personal data, including anything you send through the contact form, is set out in the privacy policy.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when they last were. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
