Bangkok's Prachim Ratthaya Expressway Toll Rises to 80 Baht From December 15
Cities:Bangkok
A Transport Ministry notice published in the Royal Gazette raises toll caps on Bangkok’s Prachim Ratthaya Expressway, the route previously known as the Si Rat-Outer Ring Road, from December 15, 2026. The ceiling for cars and other vehicles with up to four wheels rises from 65 to 80 baht. Vehicles with more than four and up to 10 wheels move from 105 to 130 baht, and those with more than 10 wheels move from 150 to 185 baht.
The increase is the first since December 2021 and follows a schedule written into the road’s concession agreement, under which rates are reviewed roughly every five years. Drivers who continue onto the connecting Si Rat or Chalerm Maha Nakhon expressways still pay a separate toll at the Bang Sue 2 plaza, unaffected by this change.
Anyone who uses this expressway for a daily commute or airport run should budget for the higher fare from mid-December; the increase does not apply to any other Bangkok toll road.
