Krabi to Get Direct Nordic Flights From Finnair and SAS This Winter
In June 2026, Thailand’s aviation authorities confirmed that Krabi International Airport will gain new direct international links for the 2026/27 winter season, which runs from October 25, 2026 to March 27, 2027. Finnair is scheduled to fly two return flights a week between Helsinki and Krabi, and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will fly two return flights a week between Copenhagen and Krabi, adding a same-day option from Scandinavia that wasn’t on the schedule the previous season. Altogether, airlines requested slots at Krabi covering a combined 126 international flights a week for the season, as demand grows from long-staying Nordic visitors drawn to the region’s beaches and wellness tourism.
For anyone booking a winter trip to Krabi, Ao Nang or the nearby islands, this is new capacity rather than a restored route, and it’s worth checking directly with the airline closer to departure since newly allocated slots can still shift before a season begins.
