Chonburi Officials Project 5-Billion-Baht Boost From First Tomorrowland Thailand
Chonburi Governor Naris Niramaiwong briefed local travel and hospitality operators on preparations for Tomorrowland Thailand, the Belgian electronic dance music festival’s first-ever event in Asia, set to run December 11-13, 2026 at Wisdom Valley in Bang Lamung district. He said the three-day event, expected to draw more than 30,000 visitors a day, is projected to generate over 5 billion baht in economic activity in its debut year, giving local hotels, restaurants, and transport operators a strong incentive to prepare for the surge in visitors. The festival has already secured a multi-year hosting commitment, meaning it is expected to return to the province in future years as well.
The venue itself is being built out on more than 600 rai (roughly 237 acres) in the Khao Mai Kaew area, with a planned capacity above 50,000 people a day. Unlike Tomorrowland’s Belgian edition, the Thailand festival will not have DreamVille camping — organisers are instead selling hotel packages bundling accommodation, three-day passes and shuttle transfers, which is worth knowing for anyone planning accommodation in Pattaya or Bang Lamung around those dates.
