Tytus, who runs DurianDesk

TytusRuns DurianDesk and answers every message himself.

This site is written to be useful on its own. But reading what the rules are and getting through them are two different things, and at some point most people need someone on the ground.

Tell us what you need — a visa, a school, a company and its accounts, property, a trip. We arrange it with a firm in Thailand we have checked ourselves, agree the price with them, and come back to you with it. You pay what you would pay going to that firm directly: they pay us, you do not. If what you need is not something we cover, we tell you plainly.

To be clear about what this is: DurianDesk does not do the regulated work itself — a licensed firm does, and is responsible for it. What we do is pick the right one, handle the back-and-forth, and stay your single point of contact from the first message to the end. It only works if the people we help come back and recommend us, so we have no interest in sending you anywhere that will not work out.

Retirement, DTV, business, education and long-term stay — working out which category actually fits, and who can handle the paperwork.

Worth telling us, so the first reply is actually useful:

  • Which visa are you looking at, or are you not sure yet?
  • Which passport do you hold?
  • When do you want to arrive, and how long do you plan to stay?
  • Are you applying alone, or with a partner or children?
  • Have you applied for a Thai visa before? If it was refused, what reason were you given?

None of these are required. Answer what you can and skip the rest.

Messages go to Tytus, who runs the site and answers them himself. Usually within a day or two. If you would rather write directly, the address is contact@duriandesk.com.
